Aims of Friends of IAESTE Network

What it is

The Friends of IAESTE Network was set up to promote and to support the IAESTE exchange programme.

Each year about 10,000 people are invoved in the IAESTE exchange programme as trainees, employers and IAESTE staff.Up to now more than 300,000 trainees have been successfully exchanged through IAESTE world wide!

The idea

The IAESTE network is unique. Former IAESTE staff members or trainees are now working in positions that can help IAESTE find new training offers or who can support the IAESTE Committee in their home country. Another possibility is to help each other by establishing contacts that can help members in their studies or profession.

Just imagine:

• If only 1% of the former 300,000 IAESTE trainees help to find an additional training offer, 3000 additional trainees could be exchanged. At present IAESTE exchanges about 5000 trainees per year.
• You are working on project for your studies or in your job. Through the network you can certainly find an IAESTE friend who can help you to find the information you need.
• You are asking yourself what has happened to your IAESTE friends. There is a good chance to find them again through the network.
• 300,000 trainees have worked in Companies all over the world. They can now pass on their experiences to new trainees and can help now with business contacts.
